The Fishing Is Still Good!
November 4th, 2007 by Gillwetter PressOn the piers this week there have been some good catches of spots, bluefish, small croaker, black drum, & some flounder.
On the surf some nice size red drum are showing up in the 20 to 25 lb range, bluefish, spots, Virginia mullet, black drum, flounder, & pompano. Inshore red drum, black drum, flounder, speckled trout, gray trout, Virginia mullet, & croaker.
This past week it’s been so windy we have to no offshore report.
Fishing tip of the week: The water temperature is dropping fast. The fishing is still good, but will slow down fast. This should be a good time for surf fishing.
