Fishing Report & Tip 1-6-2008

January 6th, 2008 by Gillwetter Press

In the surf still a few puppy drum, Virginia mullet, speckled trout, & bluefish.

Inshore speckled trout, red drum, black bass, gray trout, & Virginia mullet.

Offshore very windy this past week. No report.

Fishing tip of the week: The water temperature is around 50 degrees now inshore. It has dropped fast in the past few days due to temperatures dropping in the teen’s & twenty’s. The fish will be a little lethargic. If you’re fishing with lures, slow down your presentation & fish in shallower water. Keep fishing and stay safe.
