Affordable Charters Fishing Report Feb 3, 2008

February 3rd, 2008 by Gillwetter Press

In the surf very slow this past week. A few reports of speckled trout & some small red drum.

Inshore still catching a nice variety. Speckled trout, a few grey trout, some red drum, very small Virginia mullet, croaker, still a few stripped bass & catfish in the Cape Fear river north.

Offshore on the bottom grouper, snapper, & black bass.

Fishing tip of the week: In the next few issues we are going to be running pictures called blasts from the past. You will see some old fishermen, some who are still with us & some not. If you have any really old fishing pictures you’d like to share email  them to us at captaincarty@bellsouth.net. Keep fishing & stay safe.
