In the surf reports of a few red drum & speckled trout caught on Masonboro Island.

Inshore speckled trout, a few gray trout, red drum, black drum, striped bass, & catfish.

Offshore no report, very windy.

Fishing tip of the week: This is that time of year when fishing has slowed down but still 07 was a very productive year. It’s a good time to get your boat & fishing gear in ship shape.

There is a new 30 minute fishing program every Sunday morning at 8:00 on Fox. It features local native Captain Andy Everhart & is called Southern Sportfishing. His show covers everything from offshore, inshore, & surf fishing. He gives great fishing tips & the best thing about his show is that it is filmed right here in our local waters.
