January 11th, 2009 by Gillwetter PressStill a few Virginia mullet, black drum, small puppy drum, & a few speckled trout caught in the surf at Carolina Beach. Waterways & river speckled trout, some nice size striped bass, catfish, red drum, black drum, black bass & Virginia mullet.
Fishing tip of the week: This past week we’ve had very good catches of small red & black drum. Hopefully this is a good indication for lots of larger drum this spring & summer. Keep fishing & stay safe.

David from Raleigh, Nc caught & released several small puppy drum while fishing aboard Affordable Charters.
Berry & Joe caught these black drum & caught & released a few red drum in Affordable Charters fishing hole.
