Affordable Charters Fishing Report 2-9-09

February 8th, 2009 by Gillwetter Press

Even though the extreme cold water temperatures this past week has been in the lower 40’s we have still managed to catch a few black bass, small Virginia mullet, & small croaker at Southport in the river channel. Up toward Wilmington catching lots of catfish, & still a few stripped bass.

Fishing tip of the week: If you have any blast from the past pictures or stories to share until water temperatures start to rise & we can use current photos please email the information to captaincarty@bellsouth.net. Keep fishing & stay safe.
