Affordable Charters Fishing Report 12-28-09
December 28th, 2009 by Gillwetter PressIn the surf we are still catching speckled trout on mirror lures. Also catching puppy drum and Virginia mullet with shrimp on bottom rigs.
In the Cape Fear around downtown Wilmington we are catching some stripped bass around the 9 to 15 lb range while trolling.
Also some nice size speckled trout around the rock islands and in the Brunswick river. If anyone has any fishing pictures they would like to share please email them to me at captaincarty@bellsouth.net. Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year. Keep fishing and stay safe.
