In the surf catching some nice size red drum, a few small Virginia mullet, black drum, & shark. On the piers catching some Virginia mullet, black drum, croaker, & shark. Inshore in the waterways, basin, & river still catching some small speckled trout, small red drum, a few flounder, Virginia mullet, croaker, catfish, & shark.

Fishing tip of the week: The spring run of Virginia mullet is going strong right now. It’s a good time to get out there & have fun catching some good eating fish. Keep fishing & stay safe.

Affordable Charters Fishing Report 04-04-10

 Inshore a few speckled trout & red drum in the rivers & basins. Some Virginia mullet, shark, & catfish at the mouth of the Cape Fear River. Some red drum are being caught around the 10 lb. range in the Carolina Beach Inlet off the bars.
