In the surf some small Virginia mullet, small flounder, some puppy drum, black drum, bluefish, & sharks.

On the piers catching King mackerel, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, Virginia mullet, flounder, black drum, croaker, & sharks.

In the river, bays, & waterways some red drum, black drum, speckled trout, gray trout, flounder, bluefish, sharks, stingrays & a few Virginia mullet.

Fishing tip of the week: A new proclamation has gone into effect. You can only keep 1 gray trout per person per day. It is a good idea to check for the latest proclamations before going out. There is a website for this at www.ncfisheries.net/procs/index.html . Keep fishing & stay safe.
