Cape Fear Guide Fishing Report

I fished Carolina Beach Inlet yesterday with lot’s of action red drum were biting along with the black drum.I had live menhaden for bait along with some cut bait,it really did not matter fish were just biting ! Most of the reds were 16″ to 17″ we did manage to get a couple of fish that were 18″ to 20″. Give the Cape Fear Guide a call and enjoy some of this winter time fishing action !

  

Coastal North Carolina had a rainy Saturday,the Cape Fear Guide decided to try his luck in the woods deer hunting,instead of fishing being his charter wanted to fish Sunday instead of Saturday.
Things worked out well for Capt.Mike left Carolina Beach at O8:30 am, after a breakfast of pancakes and bacon,drove to the Green Swamp in Brunswick county to hunt the public game land. Rain was coming down pretty steady till about 12: 00 so I road around just glassing the cut down areas with binoculars. The rain slacked up enough to climb into stand after about an hour had passed the meat hit the ground !
Just a small spike buck,for the Capt.but another great day enjoying the great outdoors.
