NC Fall Inshore Fishing

Cape Fear Guide is reporting  fishing action along the lower Cape Fear River is happening now,the bite is steadily improving with the cooler than normal  temperatures.
This past week we had several weather fronts to pass through the Cape Fear Region causing the bite to be slowed, but that’s part of fishing. Red Drum, flounder, speckle trout, are being caught in the smaller creeks just off the river.
Capt.Mike Dennis offers some of the best hands on inshore guided charters in the Cape Fear Region, fishing on a weekly basis his charters are highly successful.
Red Drum are one of North Carolina’s most valuable fishing resources, I abide by all North Carolina size & creel limits, releasing fish after the limits are reached.
Fishing is fun, not to mentioned just being out side in the great outdoors, enjoying this beautiful fall weather, pick yourself a Carolina blue day, give me a call, come fishing !

Cape Fear Guide is reporting red drum are biting just about everywhere along the Cape Fear River from Snow’s Cut south to Bald Head Island. This past week red drum were scattered along the east bank of the river,in the buzzard bay area, fish were plentiful October 2, 2009 was a perfect day on the water with the red drum biting just about every spot I stopped to fish.
Rapala X -Wrap has proven to be my favorite plug for catching these fish when they are really biting along the banks, and oyster beds.
The fall bite has started !
