4-7 Carolina Explorer Fishing Report: Still Catching lots of redfish, some black drum, and whiting. The warmer temps are making for some great days on the water!!!!
April 8th, 2011 by Capt. Robert SchoonmakerWell the redfishing is still going strong, just look at the pics and see for yourself. Most of these fish have been on lures, but we can use bait if you want too. Sometimes just kicking back and relaxing is the best way to catch fish. Either way, I will be glad to put you on some great redfish action. As you can see the redfish have been the main attraction. That being said, the whiting and a few black drum have been biting as well. Spring is just around the corner and we will see the trout (which we can’t keep until June ), blues, more black drum, gray trout, and a few flounder start to show up in the next few weeks. Thanks for reading the report and remember to have fun and be safe on the water.
