Fishing Report Live Bait 6-13-2010

June 14th, 2010 by Gillwetter Press

Had Jeff and Tate for a full day of live bait fishing. Headed off shore after a few minutes of jigging bait. Started at 20 miles. 1st drift Jeff caught his 1st ever Cobia 25 lbs. Then the next drift we had a 30 lber. The morning had plenty of action including a 15 lb Gag grouper. We had several more hits and broke them off or pulled hooks. Later in the morning some one shut off the light switch and the fish stopped eating. We worked some ledges and wrecks off shore. We did get a couple of small Mahi but not a single king strike. Had plenty fo fresh fillets for the guys to enjoy of Cobia,Grouper and Mahi.
