Fishing Report 5-29-2011 Day #2

The ocean was much nicer on day #2. Started in 200 feet looking for Mahi and grouper  but no takers. Went to the deep water and 1st drift a quad hook up. The action stayed outstanding all morning with large Almacos and some decent AJs. Later in the day Ty finally landed a fat Red grouper. Andrew seemed to have the action down today with multiple larger fish all day long. Amazing 2 days and never saw the 1st Mahi at the break. I was a great 2 days of jigging and everyone enjoyed the nice ride home.

Fishing Report Deep Jigging 5-28-2011 Day #1

Had Jimmy, Andrew, Lourdes and Ty down for 2 days of jigging for AJs. Day #1 was a rough ride out due to a large east swell but the fishing was worth the long ride. Andrew dropped 1st and 10 seconds he was on with everyone else to follow. The action was steady all afternoon with many multiple hook ups. Later in the day the larger fish ate with some nice 50 inch fish. After everyone was tied of AJs went inshore to try for a grouper but no luck. Lourdes had a largest fish of the day of course.
