Lots of sharks
March 19th, 2008 by Chris at Sharky's | No Comments »We ran a 1/2 day afternoon trip on the Sea Robin yesterday with Francis Collinson and his crowd. No blues, no bass, but there were lots and lots of dogsharks, better than 50 at the last count. Dogsharks are not a very prized game fish, but they are a lot of fun on light tackle when there is nothing else happening.
Surf fishing was slow yesterday in Duck. I was a prety day for fishing, but I did not get any good reports.
30mph winds will keep our boats to the dock today, and possibly tomorrow. Our whole fleet is booked Friday afternoon but we do have some openings in the morning, so if you want to go fishing on Friday you may want to book now before it is too late.
There is a high tide at 6:43am and a low tide at 1:00pm. The water temperature at the Duck Pier is 50.4.
Good Luck,
Chris at Sharky’s
