Gulf Stream fishing yesterday went off. We had 3 wahoo’s 2 black fin and 8 dolphin fish. We ran down to the south and found a good temp break and fished that area for the most part by our selves. We stayed on the ledge the most of the day I never made it out to the deep to look for a bill fish but I guess we got lucky and found this blue marlin.. Lane’s Choice had 20 dolphin fish the Tuna Trapp had a 60 pd whaoo and several other in the 30 class range. Clint found the black fin big time. Every one that I talked to had a great day. The sea bass and king mackeral also had a good showing yesterday. If you want to do a half day the sea bass and mackerl trip come on it’s the best money you will ever spend and you will have your freezer stocked for weeks.. I also heard the big spanish mackeral showed up just off the beach, along with some skip jacks. So give you a call if you want to go. I headed out thursday and saturday this week. Don’t for get to enter to win a free half day charter this summer.

WOW
Thats All I can say. If you want to go after pure numbers and bites for sail fish this is the place to go. We fished with one of the best captains in the world Capt Arch Bracher check him out at http://www.fishthepelican.com . We will keep you in the meat and is one of the niceest guys you will ever fish wih. ((( as long as you don’t f&*Zijh*%$% up )) He will average 20 plus fish a day for the season. Of course you can have those day’s of catching 40 to 50 or more. Arch has the single high record for one day which was 89 fish in one day. The weather can be a factor we however lucked out for the week. The first day we went 22 for 40 which wasn’t that bad the fish were balling the bait up and it was a site to see. The next two day’s were more trolling bites which is what we are more adapted to back home. We ended up with over 50 fish in three day’s of fishing and missed while I hate to day but more than we caught. It’s all about catching the fish when it come into your spread. We did not do the best job at that but felt like we got better as the week went on. It was a great time and the crew on the stream weaver will be headed back next year.
